About the PG Fam
The Playground is an indoor training facility thoughtfully designed for softball players, with a mission to provide a personalized experience for every athlete. Recognizing the need in the Sioux Falls area for a space tailored to the unique needs of young female athletes, The Playground was created to fill that gap and empower the next generation of leaders.
Our team of experienced and passionate instructors takes the time to truly understand each athlete, crafting individualized training approaches that challenge players to grow and excel. We reject “cookie-cutter” methods, focusing instead on building confidence and helping every athlete reach—and exceed—their personal goals. Our "why" is simple: to foster a community where softball athletes in the Midwest can become the best versions of themselves, both on and off the field. Through mentorship, top-level instruction, and an emphasis on hard work, we aim to instill confidence and leadership skills that last a lifetime. At The Playground, softball is more than just a sport—it’s a way to create a supportive and empowering environment where young athletes can thrive.
Logistics
Space
- 12,000 square foot facility including an additional 35'x50' multi-use turf area.
- Six 12'x66' tunnel that can slide open to make one big open area with no support beams and 15' high ceilings.
- New weight room with mulitple racks, dumbbells, resistance bands, and more.
amenities
- Hack Attack & Jugs Pitching machines.
- Two plyo boards with multiple sized plyo balls.
- Bats, balls, and tools to utilize.
- Upstairs "viewing" area that can be used for team meetings, parents meetings, parties, etc.
